People who say “Leigh-vitt” are loved.

People who say “Lee-vitt” are given a slight, but noticeable demerit.

People who say “L’Avitt” are charmingly indulged because at least they tried, the rascals.

My book release party is tomorrow so posts will be  scattered. More details later.

(for the record, the name is a corruption of Lovitt and the very first Leavitt in America was also a John. He  was an indentured servant who ran away from his post. I kinda like that)
